When we hear the word grief, our minds usually go straight to the loss of a loved one. But there’s another kind of grief that many people carry quietly — financial grief.
This is the deep emotional pain that comes with financial hardship, whether from a loss of a job, spiralling debt, or watching a business you built fall apart. It can feel like your whole world has turned upside down. It’s more than just losing money – it’s losing your lifestyle, your future, and even your sense of identity.
Money, after all, plays a big part in how we live. It pays for the little joys in life like eating out, shopping or going on holiday. It helps support our hobbies and keep the family happy and secure. So, when our finances take a hit, life can begin to look very different.
And it doesn’t stop there. Financial grief can also affect our confidence. You begin to question your worth, especially if you’ve always seen yourself as the provider, the go-getter, the one others could rely on and losing that role can leave you feeling lost and ashamed.
It’s during these times that many people isolate themselves trying to carry the pain alone. But you don’t have to go through this by yourself.
This Monday, join us for our “Prosperity with God” meeting, where we will ‘Cry Out to End Financial Grief.’ If you work in sales, there will be a special blessing just for you. Don’t miss this moment because through faith we believe that no loss is final and that restoration is possible.
Event: Cry Out to End Financial Grief
