Have you ever faced a situation so difficult that, no matter how hard you try, it just won’t shift? One minute it looks like you are making progress, and the next, you find yourself right back where you started. It’s exhausting, disheartening, and at times, feels impossible to overcome.
This could be anything: a cycle of financial hardship, a broken family and relationship issues, bad habits, sadness, repeated failures, uncontrolled anger, or even sensing negative energy around you. These issues do not respond to quick fixes. They are spiritual battles, and they require a different type of warfare.
Think about soldiers. When they are sent into battle, they are not just thrown in unarmed. They are trained, equipped and strengthened. It’s no different when fighting spiritual battles. You need preparation, support, tools and most importantly, faith.
Join us for ‘The Fast of War’ this Saturday at 7am. It’s time to wage war against the problem. When you rise early it shows you are serious and want to see a change. It’s not just about abstaining from food—though fasting is one part of it, if you’re medically able (always follow your doctor’s advice). This meeting is about putting yourself in a spiritual position that says: “I’m ready to fight, and I’m not giving up until I see a breakthrough.”
What can you expect?
- Powerful prayers of faith targeted against the problem.
- A word of faith that will encourage you to keep going.
- Spiritual support: You do not fight alone. We fight alongside you.
Also, bring a sackcloth. It may sound old-fashioned, but wearing sackcloth is a biblical symbol of humility saying, “God, I can’t do this on my own, I need You.”
As Psalm 144:1 says: “Blessed be the Lord, my Rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle”(Psalm 144:1).
You cannot fight spiritual battles with physical weapons. Many people get worn out or discouraged because they are trying to win a spiritual war with the wrong weapons. When you come in faith, with prayer, fasting, humility, and the word of God—you come armed.
If you’re facing the impossible, maybe it’s time to fight in a new way. The Fast of War is not easy but neither is the battle you are in. Come ready for war.
Victory is not out of reach. But sometimes, you’ve got to fight for it.
